Excellent photos. I'm partial to Williamsburg, VA but I will make a trek to Boston one day soon--especially if I can take some photos as good as these.

I moved out to Boston in May of this year and am liking it alot. There are alot of cool things to find in the city.
I spent last summer in Boston and just had to come back.

I went to Boston for the first time ever this year and I was amazed at how cool the city was -- even more impressed by the way the city is so connected by public transportation. If only Los Angeles was like that, man...
Then again, even without the Pub Transpo, the historical aspect of that city just floors you.
Duck Tours, well I can take that or leave it. But drinking a Sam Adams in a bar while gazing upon Sam Adams grave site -- priceless.

Secret Asian Man - Your comment reminded me of one of my favourite and oft quoted Simpson's scenes.
Inside, at lunch, Freddy is served something in a bowl by a waiter.
Freddy: Hey! What the hell is this?
Waiter: [French accent] It's a bowl of chowder, sir. ["shaudere"]
Freddy: Wait a minute, come here. What did you call it? Say it loud enough so everyone can hear. Cone on, say it...
Waiter: Ahem. Chowder. ["shaudere"]
Freddy: [raucous laughter] Shau-dere? Shau-dere? It's "chowder". ["chowdah"] Say it right!
Waiter: [pause] Chowder. ["shaudear"]
Freddy: [laugher] Come back here! I'm not through demeaning you.

I love Beantown. I've got close friends there and make it up at least once a year.

hey shane,
i too love boston. i miss it hugely! i can't believe that its been over 2 years since i was last there, and i want to go back so badly! i could quite happily live in boston i think! maybe one day i'll get there! I'm hoping to be able to go over sometime at the start of next year, and incorporate a trip to Keene to meet up with old college mates, and Lorianne of course!
hope all's well! take care,
Rach

My daughter took some college courses at AIB. Boston is a nice place to visit - BUT - I hate the driving there! My brother-in-law who lives outside of Worcester calls the drivers Massholes...I guess you have to be a bit fearless, and perhaps I'm a bit too cautious!

The drivers here are pretty bad and extremely aggressive but the driving sucks mostly b/c the road layout is extremely confusing. If you don't know your way around, take a cab or the T.

I live in Worcester (affectionately known as Wormtown) and am only 45mi away from Boston but don't get there enough. Man do I love that city.

I've been close, but have never made it all the way, to Boston. Work took me to Portsmouth, NH, a few years back - an 8 hour road trip through southern Maine (and southern New Brunswick :) ) And I've driven around Boston on my way to Foxborough for a DMB concert (first stadium concert...hol-y shit!)
Lovely pictures!

I love love love love love Boston. It is my very favorite city. Lots of my family members live up in Mass. I'm a good Irish (non-practising) Catholic Bostonian at heart. But I do love me my SoCal weather.
